Ffrindiau Tydecho Friends are delighted to announce the approval of our application for initial funding to the Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF).
The release of the grant is subject to establishing a suitable organisation to receive the funds and manage the project. Work is currently underway to satisfy this requirement.
Once we have the funds we will confirm appointment of a structural engineer and an accredited conservation architect to enable us to understand the current state of the church and therefore what work would be required to bring the building back to a sustainable and usable state.
The following stage will be to develop the detailed plans and obtain cost estimates for the necessary repairs which will be the subject of a further funding application.
